Field Service Engineer - Position Management System/Hardware

Mission
Responsible to lead on-site missions to perform: Preventative maintenance, Corrective maintenance, Integration and calibration of equipment on new installations, and Deliver training. In addition, the role is responsible for covering Remote Helpdesk shifts consisting of troubleshooting and dedicated support to our installed base.

- Install and test equipment/systems according to the defined planning, procedure timelines, operating processes, and specifications.
- Perform system troubleshooting and report bugs to the Development Team.
- Maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule, and repair equipment/systems taking all necessary actions to resolve problems.
- Assist with creation of training material and delivery of training to other colleagues.
- Document and report interventions and actions undertaken with the required level of details and accuracy.
- Cover the Remote Helpdesk shifts consisting of troubleshooting and dedicated support to our installed base.
What we value
You have:
· Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Electro-Mechanical field, and 3-5 years of related work experience.

Electro-mechanical background:
- PLC
- Cooling systems
- Robotics
- Xray systems
- Vacuum and pneumatic systems
- Power supplies (high voltage AC and low voltage DC)
- Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with diagnostic equipment
- Oscilloscope
- Multimeter
- Vacuum leak tester
Travel
Travel, both domestic and international, is a requirement of the role. Durations of up to 4 consecutive weeks can occur and travel with short notice is also possible. Ability to work all shifts (morning, afternoon, and nights).
o Able to travel both internationally and domestic on short notice.
o Able to travel frequently, often on weekends and holidays.
Work Environment
The position will need to be based within driving distance of one of IBA’s existing Proton Therapy sites with a preference for being based on East Coast. Work will be performed both on site and remotely.
Compensation and Benefits
The approximate annual base salary range for this position is provided below. Within this range, individual compensation is influenced by various factors such as location, job-specific skills, work experience, and relevant education or training. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses, profit sharing, commissions, and benefits.
Approximate Range
$63,300 - $85,500 USD
