Our team is searching for a Field Service Engineer with skills and passion to install, maintain and repair IBA equipments worldwilde.
As a Flying Field Service Engineer “Accelerators”, you play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. You participate to the installation and maintenance of the IBA systems, equipments and technical tools on the Proton Therapy sites worldwide and more specifically related to the accelerator part on customer’s site.
You ensure the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and services. You will become a specialist in the latest cancer treatment solutions and represent IBA with your “know-how”.
Challenges we trust you with
- You will help deliver a final, reliable working product within defined timelines that matches quality, performance and customer satisfaction requirements
- You install equipment/systems accordingly to the defined planning, procedure timelines and operating processes
- You debug and report bugs to the Development Team, and you are in charge of testing equipment/systems according to the specifications
- You also maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule, and repair equipment/systems taking all necessary actions to solve problems
- You train less experienced colleagues to use properly and safely equipment/systems
- You document and report interventions and actions undertaken in CMMS, with the required level of details and accuracy
What we value
We are searching for an “hands on” Engineer with an excellent team spirit, eager to learn and willing to travel worldwilde
You have:
- A Master’s Degree in electro-mechanics or equivalent by experience
- Proven experience in root-cause analysis and you can lead a large-scale system troubleshooting
- Very good oral and written skills in English
- Very good communication skills with customers and IBA team
And you also are:
- A driven, proactive and hands-on individual
- Able to organize your work autonomously and take initiatives
- A team player with very good communication skills
- Willing to travel up to 60% of your time, including mostly week-ends
- Willing to work different shift times, when necessary
Compensation and Benefits
The approximate annual base salary range for this position is provided below. Within this range, individual compensation is influenced by various factors such as location, job-specific skills, work experience, and relevant education or training. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses, profit sharing, commissions, and benefits.
Approximate Range
$87,600 – 117,800 USD
