Field Service Engineer

Mission

Responsible for leading on-site missions to perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, Integration and calibration of equipment on new installations, and deliver training. In addition, the role is responsible for remote support to our installed base.

Challenges we trust you with

• Install equipment according to the defined planning, timelines and operating processes
• Troubleshoot any problem occurring and inform the development team accordingly
• Test equipment in compliance with specifications
• Maintain equipment according to the maintenance schedule, and take all necessary actions to repair equipment when needed
• Serve as technical product owner and advisor for our customers
• Train IBA’s customers to properly and safely use equipment. You advise them about available spare parts and upgrades
• Document and report any interventions with required and appropriate level of details and accuracy

What we value

You have:

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in electro-mechanical field, Master’s Degree in Industrial Electronics or Electro-mechanics Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of complex devices within industrial contexts; and working with large spectrum of technologies

And you also are:

• Excellent problem-solver who posseses solid "hands-on" technical abilities
• A team player who's customer-focused with solid interpersonal skills
• Very organized 
• Strong, skilled communicator
• Eager to take initiative and learn
• Able to work autonomously and stress resistant

Preferred Skills and Experience

• RF and power supply experience.
• Proven experience in root-cause analysis and large-scale system troubleshooting
• Linac or Cyclotron experience desired, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

The approximate annual base salary range for this position is provided below. Within this range, individual compensation is influenced by various factors such as location, job-specific skills, work experience, and relevant education or training. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses, profit sharing, commissions, and benefits.

$98,700 – 120,500 USD
