Our team is searching for a Service Engineer Industrial with to participate to R&D activities in our customer site located in Strasbourg. The successful candidate will have good organizational & relationship skills and passion to install, maintain and repair IBA equipments in Strasbourg area and EU countries.

A) Within our Customer site based in Strasbourg:

• You are based at our customer site in Strasbourg, an internationally renowned entity that includes a Center for Technological Resources (CRT) and an Agro-Industrial Technical Institute (ITAI).
• You are part of the operational committee to schedule & organize the day-to-day work in direct relationship with the customer
• You are in charge of on-site maintenance, customer support, and contribute to system reliability enhancement.
• You collaborate with Research & Development to implement and test new features.
• You contribute to the training of IBA employees

B) Install, maintain and repair IBA Industrial equipments in Europe

• You travel about one third of your time to install, maintain and repair IBA Industrial equipments throughout Europe 
• You help deliver a final, reliable working product within defined timelines that matches quality, performance and customer satisfaction requirements
• You install equipment/systems accordingly to the defined planning, procedure timelines and operating processes
• You debug and report bugs to the Development Team, and you are in charge of testing equipment/systems according to the specifications
• You also maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule, and repair equipment/systems taking all necessary actions to solve problems
• You train less experienced colleagues to use properly and safely equipment/systems
• You document and report interventions and actions undertaken in CMMS, with the required level of details and accuracy

What we value

We are searching for an “hands on” Engineer with an excellent team spirit, eager to learn and willing to travel

You have:

• A university Degree in electro-mechanics or equivalent by experience. Young graduates are welcome!
• A first experience in installation, maintenance or troubleshooting of complex industrial systems are an assets
• Very good oral and written skills in English
• Very good communication skills to build strong relationships with our customers and IBA team

And you also are:

• A driven, proactive and hands-on individual
• Able to organize your work autonomously and take initiatives
• A team player with very good communication skills
