Renowned for its person-centered approach, the Kālida Sant Pau is a complementary cancer care center, providing free physical, emotional, and social support to people with cancer and their loved ones, welcoming over 2,000 individuals every year. Inspired by the UK’s Maggie’s Centres model (www.maggies.org), Kālida Sant Pau offers serenity, beauty, and a connection to nature, using architecture and design as part of the healing process.

 

Together, we build partnership with leading hospitals to create new complementary cancer care centers and expand Kalida model of support across Spain.

Your Role: Project Manager for Growth & Global Impact

 


As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our impact:

 

· For Oncia Community: Capture and structure learnings from Kālida’s experience to support the development of similar centers internationally.

· For Kālida Foundation: Lead the planning and execution of new center openings across Spain, ensuring alignment with the organization's values, timelines, and budget.


Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Planning & Expansion

 

· Design and implement expansion strategies for new Kālida centers across Spain

· Conduct feasibility studies (technical, financial, operational, and social)

· Build strategic partnerships with hospitals, government bodies, NGOs, and private sector allies

· Monitor trends, identify new opportunities, and adjust the strategy accordingly

 

Project Execution & Management

 

· Oversee the construction and setup of new centers, ensuring they meet health, accessibility, and design standards

· Liaise with stakeholders: architects, hospital services, construction firms, authorities, donors, and vendors

· Manage timelines, budgets, milestones, and ensure delivery excellence

· Ensure that each new space reflects the architecture-for-care principles: warm, domestic, sustainable, and dignified environments

 

Knowledge Sharing & Global Outreach

 

· Create detailed guides and documentation to replicate the Kālida model abroad

· Train and support new teams as they develop their own centers

· Ensure projects adhere to legal, ethical, and quality standards across borders

 

Monitoring & Reporting

 

· Deliver regular progress reports and project evaluations to both Oncia and Kālida leadership

· Analyze impact, propose improvements, and drive a culture of continuous learning

What we value

 

 

Your Profile

 

· Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Engineering, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or similar

· Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in health, social, or educational sectors

· Proven success in expanding or replicating services, especially in healthcare or public sector settings

· Strong strategic thinking, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

· Experience working with hospitals, local authorities, donors, and multidisciplinary teams is a plus

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (MS Project, Trello, Asana)

· Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

· PMP certification or relevant project management training preferred

· Languages: you are fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English. French is a plus
