Mission

As a Health & Safety Associate, you will proactively drive, sustain and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture for employees, visitors and subcontractors ensuring compliance with national regulations.

 

You will be part of an international team that provides internal guidance, supporting the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of sophisticated medical equipment worldwide, with a particular focus on the EMEA region.

Challenges we trust you with

  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a strong Health & Safety culture within the business.
  • Conduct Health & Safety inspections and assist in risk assessments.
  • Participate in design reviews and integrate safety standards from a product perspective.
  • Develop and distribute routine Health & Safety Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to Health & Safety programs.
  • Measure and monitor safety indicators to assess the health of the Unit's safety practices.
  • Conduct on-site communications, including site tours, and oversee installation, operation, and maintenance teams to ensure safety.
  • Develop training content and communication tools to increase awareness and promote a practical approach.
  • Communicate effectively and assist in investigating accidents and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

What we value

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment (installation & maintenance of complex machinery).
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety principles and industry best practices.
  • Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in Spanish, Italian, or French is a plus.
  • Experience in Health & Safety, particularly in radiation safety, electrical safety, and working at heights, is an asset.
  • Experience in risk analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to deliver classroom training.
  • A team player with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Capable of creating an awareness and compliance environment.
