Mission:
Our Flying team's mission is to maintain IBA's Proton Therapy equipment and systems, both at IBA's facilities and our customers' sites, with the goal of delivering reliable working products that meet quality, performance, and customer satisfaction requirements within specified timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining equipment and systems according to the maintenance schedule.
- Repairing and debugging subsystems following documented procedures.
- Testing equipment and systems according to specifications using documented procedures.
- Ensuring daily reporting of activities, maintenance execution, and incidents using appropriate tools.
- Preparing, setting up, and operating equipment and systems on a daily basis.
- Handling the first level of debugging based on parameters available on the MCR screens.
What we value
You have:
- A Technical High School certificate (Electronics, Electricity or other) OR A bachelor's degree in electro-mechanics or electronics OR equivalent through experience.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a strong willingness to learn this expertise, including mechanics, electronics, and electricity (experience in vacuum and cooling is a plus).
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- A valid passport and authorization to travel worldwide. A driving license is an additional advantage.

- A driven, proactive, and hands-on professional.
- Able to autonomously organize your work and eager to take initiatives.
- Detail-oriented, with a good customer service mentality.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willing to travel up to 60% of your time, possibly on weekends.
- Willing to work on shifts, including night shifts if required.
