Trade Finance & Treasury Analyst

Mission

As Treasury Analyst you will report to the Director of Treasury & Financing and be part of the Louvain-la-Neuve HQ team taking care of cash management, corporate & project financing and contractual risk management activities for the whole IBA Group. 
We are looking for a passionate professional (working full time or part time-4/5) with a high motivation to learn and to contribute to IBA’s development and mission.

Challenges we trust you with

Trade & export finance and business support:  

• Evaluate international prospects/customers and other stakeholders (credit and compliance checks) 

• Define and implement trade finance and risk management solutions: letters of credit, bank guarantees, credit risk insurance, forex strategies… 

• Develop and implement tailor-made customer financing solutions: supplier and buyer credits, discounted letters of credit, grants…  

• Monitor and report on identified risks 

Cash management and corporate finance: 

• Deploy cash reporting and payment processing tools across the group (currently 20+ entities across Europe, Asia and the Americas)  

• Implement cash management and financing solutions in function of group entities funding requirements  

• Update group cash flow forecast 

• Prepare treasury reporting for the Audit committee and Board of directors 

What we value

You have: 

• A master in finance, economics, management or business engineering 

• Preferably 2-5 years of experience in a trade finance and export finance (candidates with different levels of relevant experience can also be considered) 

• An excellent knowledge of English and French (any other language is a plus) 

• A very good operational command of Excel (knowledge of SAP is a plus) 

• An experience in an international environment is a plus

• A good communicator, able to build a relationship of trust with internal and external stakeholders, locally and internationally
