Technical Trainer

Mission

The mission of the IBA Industrial Training Team consists in: 

• Delivering technical trainings to Field Service Engineers and Technicians to build and maintain the skills for their job
• Developing and maintaining training content (hands-on workshops, documents, …) based on inputs from experts
• Assessing the skills of the trainees for their certification
• Evaluating the quality and the effectiveness of the training

Challenges we trust you with

The IBA Industrial Training Team operates the INDUX Center, a lab designed for training and R&D, fully equipped with a Rhodotron® and its equipment, and all the tools to work on them. It is used to host technical trainings with a strong focus on hands-on.

As a Technical Trainer, one of your main responsibilities is to deliver trainings on the Rhodotron® to IBA Industrial employees and customers. The other main task is the development of new trainings based on inputs from experts from R&D and from the field. The typical time ratio is 60% training delivery and 40% development, that can be adapted based on your aspirations.

The trainings cover a wide range of applications in electricity, electronics and mechanics, and include cutting edge technologies at the frontiers of engineering and physics.

What we value

You have:

• A Master's degree (or a Ph.D.) in Electronics or Electricity and proven technical skills (electricity, electronics, physics, …)
• Practical or hands-on experience in electronics / RF / electricity is a strong asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a strong asset)
• Experience in technical training is a plus (analysis, design, development, delivery or evaluation).
