Mission

To reach its business objectives, the Industrial Solutions business unit is looking for a talented System Integration Architect to manage the integration of the IBA integrated system solution.

As System Integration Architect, you will be part of the R&D Integration team and you interact with several stakeholders to capture, analyze and report the requirements and functionalities of the integrated solution and then, collegially with the team or individually depending on each case, propose solutions and develop them to meet the demand of a IBA Industrial solution. You have the “end-to-end” accountability for this product from the design phase through factory testing until final validation on the customer site. Besides, the presence of in-house experts knowledgeable in every technology embedded in the IBA products is one of IBA’s assets and differentiator.

Challenges we trust you with

  • Architect the system of assigned components, ensuring a long-term vision aligned with the BU product roadmap.
  • Write test scenarios at the integration level and ensure unit tests are properly developed.
  • Translate system specification into customer information.
  • Follow-up with the customer and the IBA team the system integration from design until validation.
  • Evolve product design and specifications for new features.
  • Lead the system technical risks analysis.
  • Main internal/external contact point for the project execution; seek customer satisfaction and ensure support to internal and/or external customer.
  • Identify development issues early, seek continuous improvement.
  • Transfer to the team in charge of the post-project support (Customer Service department, product manager, operations…

What we value

  • You are a Software or Automation Engineer or have equivalent experience.
  • You have ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support junior developers.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing requirements and priorities.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • You know how to use Jira and Confluence.
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens and/or Rockwell PLCs.
  • You are open to traveling on average 15% of your time.
  • You are B2-C1 in English and ideally fluent in French.
