Sustainability ESG Reporting Associate

Mission

Contribute to IBA’s ambition to embed sustainability at the core of its operations by ensuring reliable ESG reporting, advancing certification processes, and enhancing data quality and automation.

 

You will play a key role in supporting regulatory compliance, fostering internal engagement, and enabling data-driven sustainability actions. 

Challenges we trust you with

• Collect and validate ESG-related data from IBA products and entities in Belgium and abroad 
• Ensure data quality by verifying supporting documentation and analyzing KPI trends 
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate ESG data collection and reporting 
• Contribute to the preparation of the CSRD annual report and B Corp certification, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders 
• Develop and support a network of sustainability data ambassadors across the organization 
• Animate and communicate about internal sustainability initiatives 

What we value

 

You have:
  • Experience in ESG reporting and regulation compliance (e.g. CSRD, B Corp, REACH, RoHS), ideally 1-3 years of experience in a technical/industrial sector 
  • An understanding of technical environmental data (e.g., power, energy, GHG emissions, resource metrics) 
  • A strong command of Excel (pivot tables, structured data, etc.) 
 
The job will be located in Belgium.

  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments 
  • Well-organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple projects and priorities 
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a focus on producing meaningful ESG data 
  • Proactive and resourceful, able to reach out to colleagues and drive initiatives forward 
  • Comfortable navigating both technical subjects and human dynamics in a business environment 
  • Fluent language skills in French and English, both written and spoken
