Mission
As a member of the PT Software Engineering Group, your mission is to ensure the compliance of the PT products to the latest cybersecurity and data protection regulations. In this regard, you will be collaborating closely with the IBA company wide CISO
Challenges we trust you with
- Manage the Data Protection & Cybersecurity Board (to review, analyze and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities on the PT product) - as part of the non-conformities management process
- Participate to the COCIR activities related to cybersecurity and data protection
- Manage the information security program roadmap as a product owner for the Data Protection and Cybersecurity features on the PT product; drive the needed improvements in collaboration with Product Management and according to the internal processes for Product change
- Provide support in efforts to get the PT sites (Proton Therapy sites) ISO 27001 certified (in collaboration with the IT Security Engineer at Operations side)
- Proactively look for and identify potential security issues and threats; lead the needed process improvements and design systems to watch for and protect against these issues & threats
- Be the contact point for C&F (Concept & Feasibility) and D&D (Design and Development) projects that have a cybersecurity or data protection impacts (although not with the primary intent of improving cybersecurity and data protection) > Help to establish product development strategies that ensure the product can remain cybersafe and compliant with the applicable privacy and data protection laws, with special attention to the GDPR / HIPAA
- Be the owner of the Cybersecurity & data protection processes associated to the PT (Proton Therapy) Product
- Support (or even provoke) security assessments in close collaboration with operations and improve internal (testing) processes according to the results of them. Including, but not limited to penetration testing, vulnerability management, and secure software development
What we value
You have:
- A master’s degree in computer science, or an equivalent experience working in IT systems
- At least 5 years of experience in technical domains that are typically impacted strongly by cybersecurity / data protection (e.g., software developer and/or system administration)
- Familiar with the problematic and passionate about the domain
- Excellent communication skills in English
And you also are:
- A strong communicator with an adequate technical background (experience)
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage the complex discussions/interventions successfully.
- Always willing to update your knowledge in the domain of cybersecurity/data protection
- A hands-on and proactive person, able to organize your work autonomously and propose initiatives
Cherry on the cake
- You have knowledge of French
- Certification as a CISSP, CISM or CDPSE would be a good addition
- You have experience in a medical device field
