IBA Radiopharma Solutions develops innovative technologies and solutions supporting the production of radiopharmaceuticals used in diagnosis and targeted therapies.
 
Serving hospitals, radiopharmacies, research centers, and industrial players worldwide, the department is focused on expanding access to radiopharmaceutical solutions and supporting the growing demand for precision medicine.

Mission

The Sales Manager will play a key role in strengthening IBA Radiopharma Solutions’ market presence and driving business growth internationally.

Reporting directly to the VP Sales, the successful candidate will leverage their experience in sales and business development within the radiopharmaceutical sector to identify new opportunities, expand customer relationships, and contribute to increasing IBA’s market share.

Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, the Sales Manager will support the execution of the commercial strategy, develop new business opportunities, and position IBA as a trusted partner in the radiopharmaceutical market.

 

The primary objective of this role is to win new business, expand IBA's customer base, secure new contracts, and increase market share through a proactive and opportunity-driven sales approach.

Challenges we trust you with

  • Market Development & Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities, uncover untapped markets, and build a strong pipeline to accelerate IBA's growth and increase market share.
  • New Business Acquisition: Actively prospect, engage, negotiate, and secure new customers across hospitals, radiopharmacies, nuclear medicine departments, research centers, and industrial partners.
  • Tenders & Offer Creation: Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals, supporting successful participation in public and private tenders.
  • Client Coordination: Develop strong customer relationships while continuously identifying opportunities to expand IBA's footprint and generate additional business.
  • Client Presentations & Representing the Brand: Represent IBA during customer meetings, conferences, and industry events, promoting IBA's value proposition and strengthening its position in the market.
  • Process Adherence: Execute commercial activities in line with sales strategies, ensuring effective opportunity management and consistent market positioning.

What we value

 

  • Educational Background: University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Knowledge of radiopharmacy, nuclear medicine, or radiopharmaceutical production is required.
  • Commercial Experience: 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine, healthcare technology, life sciences, or a related environment.
  • New Business Development: Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities, open new accounts, build a qualified sales pipeline, negotiate opportunities, and secure new contracts in a competitive B2B environment.
  • Results-Oriented: Strong track record of achieving commercial targets and contributing to revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
  • Customer Relationship Skills: Ability to build credibility with customers and develop long-term partnerships with key decision-makers.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English skills to effectively engage with international customers and internal teams.
  • Autonomous & Driven: Self-starter with resilience, ownership, and determination to convert opportunities into signed contracts and tangible business results.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel internationally (up to 50% of the time).

Compensation package

 

The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable, and car budget in specific locations) for this position is provided below:

 

Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 62900 € - 95500 €

 

The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
