IBA Industrial has built an augmented offering composed of services and expertise to support the Customers establishing a state-of-the-art irradiation facility, in all regions of the world.

 

Due to the increasing scarcity of other modalities such as Gamma and Ethylene Oxide, and to a global organic growth of the volumes to be treated, the sterilization market by irradiation is currently growing fast, requiring efficient and organized answer to the prospects approaching IBA for an accelerator or a complete irradiation solution.

 

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selecting the technical solution that best meets our prospects’ needs, both for new equipment sales and upgrades, in a timely and cost-effective way. You will do so in close collaboration with our Sales team and our Product managers.

Your mission


 
As a Sales Engineer, you will be at the heart of our commercial success: translating customer needs into tailored technical solutions for both new equipment sales and system upgrades. Working closely with our Sales and Product Management teams, you will ensure prospects and customers receive the most efficient, cost-effective, and reliable solutions.
 

 

Your key responsibilities:
 
 


• Analyze prospect requirements and technical specifications.
 
• Select the most appropriate solution from our product portfolio or design customized offers.
 
• Lead cross-functional pre-engineering studies, from requirement gathering to final proposal.
 
• Present and defend solutions internally (management, project managers) and externally (customers, conferences, trade shows).
 
• Provide technical input for sales quotes, upgrades, and feasibility studies.
 
• Deliver tailored calculations on throughput, performance, and ROI to prospects.
 
• Build clear, comprehensive documentation around our solutions.
 
• Support the Innovation team in evaluating new applications for our product portfolio.
 
• Continuously improve our solution offering tools and processes.
 
 

What we value

 

 
 
• Master’s degree in Engineering, or a Business degree with strong technical interest.
 
• ~3 years’ experience in engineering, project support, or sales support within a relevant industry.
 
• Experience in project or planning management (certification such as PMBOK or Prince2 is a plus).
 
• Strong ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex information.
 
• Previous experience in sterilization or logistics industries is a strong asset.
 
• Fluent English (written & spoken); French is a plus.
 
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10% of the time).
