Mission

The Requirements and Verification engineers are part of R&D. Their core mission is to design and develop the world leading solution for image guided Proton Therapy and other medical diagnostic and sterilization applications using ionizing radiations.
 
You will share responsibility of managing the system requirements, safety and verification of Proteus 235 proton therapy product.
 
In this role, you will ensure that your work complies with the highly regulated environment of medical applications using ionizing radiations; and commit to deliver an effective product with the highest customer value.

Challenges we trust you with

  • Define and manage engineering requirements for new projects and product changes by negotiating with system engineers, allocating and flowing down top-level requirements, and ensuring they are traced and documented in a complete and consistent way toward specifications, ready for implementation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of hardware/software integration in complex systems to support effective requirement definition and validation.
  • Ensure design verification engineering by defining test plans, test methods, analyses, design reviews and performing tests.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the design, implementation, and testing phases.
  • Contribute to ensuring compliance with IEC / ISO international standards by supporting requirements definition, risk management, safety analysis, and verification activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers, software developers, quality engineers, and regulatory affairs to ensure shared understanding of design and regulatory expectations.
  • Lead the improvements of system engineering methodologies and tools by gathering feedback, proposing enhancements, and implementing changes in coordination with technical experts.

You have:

  • A degree in Science or Engineering; with a multidisciplinary background or in the following disciplines: SW engineering, electrical engineering, control systems, physics (magnetism, particle physics, RF), robotics
  • Interest for the design and development of complex electrical medical equipment

A first experience with Requirements / test management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, RQM, Helix, … or issue tracking tool such as Jira.
