Project Manager Operational Excellence

Mission

As an Operational Excellence project manager, you will work closely with Purchasing team members and operations subject matter experts to understand current processes, examine issues, perform root causes analysis and develop improvement initiatives. You will act as a driver for continuous improvement. You will also be a key player for reporting & tools development, in collaboration with Digital Solutions and Tools & Data teams.

In your role you will support sourcing associate towards commodity strategy development.

Challenges we trust you with

  • Assess, document, harmonize and simplify existing processes with transversal view to other departments.
  • Drive selected initiatives, ensure implementation to increase functional & user efficiency.
  • Support transversal improvement initiative and coordinate project team in related field of business.
  • Develop and validate governance and KPIs to report progress and implementation status.
  • Provide analysis and ensure performance follow-up based on specific KPI’s.
  • Identify development areas, seek continuous improvement.
  • Provide reporting & tools POC and insure development in collaboration with Key user SAP, DS and T&D teams.

You have:

  • Well structured, good analytical and conceptual thinking. Strong process-orientation including ability to define, analyze and document business processes.
  • Experience working in purchasing .
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Solution oriented behavior with the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SAP/ Jira / Power BI is an asset.
  • The drive to make things happen smoothly in a matrix organization with several projects resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English.
