Project Engineer

Mission

Design and/or develop products/systems, subsystems along the full lifecycle development (processes, procedures or specifications) on the basis of project and customer specifications 

Challenges we trust you with

• Analyze, calculate and evaluate the feasibility of the hardware solution according to specifications (technical, quality, etc
• In collaboration with engineers and experts of other domains, propose technical solutions for development decisions
• Take a critical look at this solution to justify and defend it
• Design, implement and document the selected solution for a new product/process or to optimize an existing product/process
• Transfer engineering documentation necessary for the manufacture of products, up to assembly or subcontracting and process of development
• Provide plans, specifications, customer documentation, bill of materials, regulatory compliance, and procedures for QC
• Follow-up the manufacture process – i.e. ensure an interdepartmental coordination
• Create and maintain product/project nomenclature including non-commercial articles
• Master management tools (SAP, Enovia, etc.): fill them out and update them. Sustain bill of materials
• Collaborate with the stakeholders about non-conformities analysis and decisions, and deal with derogations
• Perform tests (unit, integration, validation, etc.). Troubleshoot and retest updated equipment/product
• Participate in test writing. Execute and maintain unit test cases, First Unit Revision (FUR), and site validation
• Write test reports and problem reports
• Follow-up laboratory tests: be accountable for device validation. Maintain laboratory infrastructure and equipment
• Apply hardware development methodologies, frameworks, processes and standards
• Provide active support to other teams during manufacturing and after delivery
• Estimate the work to complete, provide and respect estimations for workload and deadlines 
• Manage and lead Control Change Board and Applicability process for the BU

What we value

You have: 

• A master degree in engineering or industrial sciences, preferably in electro mechanics, electronics or electricity, or an equivalent experience
• Position as first job accepted !
• A good knowledge of MS Office is an asset
• Experience with SAP is a bonus
• A finisher mind is required
• Excellent communication skills in English and French

• Able to plan and organize your tasks
• Able to organize your work autonomously and you enjoy taking initiatives
• Willing to travel up to 10% of your time
