Program Manager - software and hardware clinical solutions

Mission

As a Program Manager in the R&D Program Management office, you will be accountable for the management of projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered within quality, time and budget in line with the Business Unit strategy. You will also be responsible for the coordination of the fundings that are helping us with research and development to define the devices and software of tomorrow. 
You will ensure a strong relationship with all internal and external stakeholders to guarantee the delivery of program goals.
 

Challenges we trust you with

  • Define the projects plan consistently with the inputs of all needed stakeholders
  • Manage simultaneously various types of hardware and software projects, from early pre-development phase to the maintenance phase of our products
  • Act as an enabler of cross-functional collaboration, mainly with R&D, Operations, Commercial and Regulatory teams
  • Lead, organize and coordinate the necessary internal/external resources (material and labor) up to the end of the project depending on the business/scope
  • Analyze and manage risks (technical, feasibility, financial, resources, safety, health, ...)
  • Be the main internal/external contact point for the project execution; seek customer satisfaction and ensure support to internal and/or external customer/partners
  • Ensure reporting is clearly communicated and action plans are proposed for decision-making
  • Identify development issues early and seek continuous improvement
  • Manage the transfer of project to the team in charge of post-project support (Customer Service department, product manager, operations, …)
  • Participate actively to the setup, development, and improvement of tools, processes, environment and structure in collaboration with the Program Management team

What we value

  • A master degree in engineering/science/management with a strong technical interest or an equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects through the full life cycle and proven ability to complete them according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience in the medical devices industry is a plus
  • Experience with R&D projects funded by Government grants is a plus
  • Fluent in French and English language speaking and writing required.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, software tools, and best practices
  • A team player with very good interpersonal skills, ready to work in a complex and international environment
  • Proactive person willing to take initiatives and able to drive change
  • A customer-oriented person with excellent communication skills including presentation of ideas
  • Fascinated by new technologies and always willing to learn
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Flexible, stress resistant and rigorous person with very good planning & organizing skills, able to set priorities
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel 5% to 10%
