Mission
The Product Owner is accountable for maximizing the value delivered by the IT Infrastructure platform across its full lifecycle (design, versioning, validation, and maintenance).
He/She ensures clear prioritization, structured backlog management, and alignment with business objectives.
The Product Owner acts as the key bridge between business and system-level needs (hardware, OS, virtualization, network, security) and technical teams, translating high-level requirements into clear, actionable inputs for implementation.

Vision & Value Ownership
- Own and communicate the IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals
- Prioritize incoming demands (change requests, upgrades, compliance needs, technical debt, etc.) based on value, constraints, and stakeholder needs
- Measure delivered value in terms of stability, compliance, maintainability, and operational efficiency
- Maintain visibility on infrastructure baselines and supported configurations
Backlog Management
- Create, maintain, and prioritize a clear and structured backlog covering infrastructure evolution, validation, and documentation
- Define iteration scope and ensure readiness of work items (clear acceptance criteria, validation approach, impact analysis)
- Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards (Definition of Done, validation evidence, documentation completeness)
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Alignment
- Align stakeholders across R&D, System Engineering, Quality, Clinical and Operations
- Ensure system-level constraints are clearly understood and reflected in backlog prioritization and decisions (performance, compatibility, regulatory requirements)
- Ensure visibility and alignment on dependencies with other components (application software, hardware platforms, external suppliers, etc.)
- Ensure cross-component initiatives are properly reflected in the IT infrastructure backlog, prioritized, and tracked to delivery (e.g., platform upgrades, virtualization strategy, cybersecurity improvements, impacts from system-level features, etc.)
- Participate in the broader Product Owner community to ensure consistency
Team Collaboration & Execution
- Lead backlog refinement and replenishment sessions with a System Administrator team
- Clarify requirements and ensure shared understanding across disciplines
- Support execution and actively contribute to Agile ceremonies
- Facilitate decision-making on technical trade-offs (e.g., upgrade vs. maintain, standardization vs. flexibility)
What we value
- At least 5 years of experience in complex system environments (IT infrastructure, industrial systems, or regulated environments)
- Strong understanding of infrastructure domains: virtualization, OS lifecycle, networking, hardware platforms
- Good knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban etc.) practices adapted to non-pure software environments
- Ability to interact effectively with technical teams (IT infrastructure, software, hardware)
- Experience with tools such as Jira, GitLab, Confluence (or equivalent)
- Fluent in English. French is a bonus.

Additional Information
- Occasional travel in Europe (~once per quarter)
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., medical devices) is a strong asset
- Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible) or lab environments is a plus
Cherry on the cake
The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable) for this position is provided below:
Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 62900 - 95500 €
The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
