IBA Industrial has built an augmented offering composed of services and expertise to support the Customers establishing a state-of-the-art irradiation facility, in all regions of the world.
Due to the increasing need to offer alternative phytosanitary methods for fresh produce trade and the successful use of irradiation in some countries, the market requires that IBA answers quickly and successfully by offering a product configuration to solve these needs. The same criteria apply for food irradiation, focused on decontamination.
Your Mission
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving strong market adoption of our solutions in the Food & Phytosanitary market, by defining and leading a product strategy that addresses the needs of our target customers. You will translate and prioritize those needs into a product development roadmap for our current product offering.
Challenges we trust you with
- Work closely with business development in order to assess market needs and define the long-term product strategy for your application/market
- Own and manage the full phytosanitary irradiation solution product lifecycle – from conception to launch, through continuous improvement, to phase-out – ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.
- Prioritize product developments based on strategic value and customer impact, and provide clear direction and support to Technical Product Managers
- Define the product vision and roadmap for the Food/Phyto segment in alignment with IBA’s strategic objectives.
- Develop pricing strategies and business models that maximize both profitability and customer value.
- Participate in the definition and tracking of KPIs and customer satisfaction related to launched products and features, and identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and operations to bring new services and upgrades to market efficiently and effectively.
- Provide the necessary support to the sales team when there are projects focused on food/phytosanitary irradiation applications.
- Integrate the professional communities within your market
- Participate in and contribute to the definition of food irradiation standards
- Support initiatives to reduce regulatory barriers and promote broader adoption of irradiation technology in the food/phytosanitary industry
- Attend and actively engage in industry meetings, conferences and tradeshows
What we value
- Master’s degree in engineering or science, or a business background with a strong interest for technologies and industrial fields
- Min. 5 years experience in product or program management, ideally in a similar industry
- Demonstrated and natural leadership and structuring capabilities.
- Excellent communication, assertiveness and influencing skills, with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify and develop a strategic & compelling vision of the product’s future potential
- Solid technical knowledge of the different products including field/hands-on experience, and the ability to rapidly understand newly presented information
- Knowledge of a relevant irradiation application, material science, Monte Carlo simulation, or any other relevant technical field is an asset

Ready and flexible to travel if needed, up to 20% of the time
