Master Data Associate
Louvain-la-Neuve, BE
Mission
At IBA, the Master data team supports the governance for key data within the company mostly in the ERP (materials, customers, vendors) and sometimes in other tools. Master Data Associates are the first point of contact for business teams (e.g. planning, procurement) regarding operational issues with master data, requests to create/change data, collect new data, monitor it, launch cleansing initiatives etc.
The team is also involved in several business projects such as the inception of S4/Hana, the implementation of our new PLM system and various improvement initiatives that impact master data such as the customs and trade program. Currently the team uses MDG on SAP ECC for materials. Vendors and customers are not (yet) governed in MDG.
Our vision for the team is to empower business users to understand, own and use “single source of truth” data to deliver on IBA’s promises. The Master Data team is part of the Tools & Data team which sits in operations and collaborates extremely closely with business analysts in Digital Solutions (IBA’s IT). As part of a broader digital team, you will have the opportunity to enlarge your knowledge of various business and digital solutions
