Manufacturing Manager

Mission

Join IBA, world leader in particle accelerator technology, as Manufacturing Manager. You will own end-to-end production operations for high-tech industrial products — from assembly to shipment — while driving a strong continuous improvement and lean culture across your department.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced manufacturing professional ready to take full accountability for a production zone and grow a team of ~10 people.
 

Challenges we trust you with

Production & Planning

•    Drive short-term production planning (3-week horizon): capacity, priorities, lead times, and quality
•    Allocate resources (teams, shifts, overtime) to consistently meet delivery targets
•    Ensure compliance with EHS standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing best practices

Performance & Continuous Improvement

•    Own department KPIs (safety, quality, lead times, customer satisfaction) and lead root cause analysis on deviations
•    Identify and implement optimization projects; measure and track gains
•    Champion a 5S/lean mindset and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the team

Team Leadership & Development

•    Coach, assess, and develop team members through clear objectives and regular feedback
•    Anticipate skill needs over a 3-year horizon and build versatility within the team
•    Foster inclusion, accountability, and a strong shop-floor presence

Cross-Functional Collaboration

•    Serve as single point of contact for your product/project scope
•    Work closely with QC, Logistics, Planning, Sourcing, and Engineering teams
•    Translate operational challenges into concrete improvement proposals

What we value

You have:

•    7–10 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, including team management in a production setting
•    Engineering background with solid field experience in production cost management, quality, and planning
•    Proven track record in process improvement (lean, 5S, OPEX) at department level

And you also are:

•    Comfortable with KPI dashboards and performance management methodologies
•    Strong EHS culture and commitment to operational rigor
•    Excellent communicator, conflict-solver, and collaborative team player
•    Fluent in French and English
