Manufacturing Engineer

Mission
As Manufacturing Engineer, you play a key role in improving the industrial maturity of IBA products.
As interface between Innovation & Development and Manufacturing & Supply Chain (MSC), you define and develop operating modes to support manufacturing, assembly, testing and shipment preparation of IBA products in order to optimize cost, quality and lead time.
You optimize flows from sourcing to delivery.
You ensure the standardization and the quality of material master data.
You provide second line support during production and collect feedback to increase product’s industrial maturity
Challenges we trust you with
- Represents Manufacturing & Supply Chain in order to ensure manufacturability of designed configuration items
- Optimize production flow & work organization for sub-assemblies
- Advise on industrial model of sub-assemblies
- Create and maintain operating modes
- Manage applicability in production
- Work on continuous improvement of supported production areas: decrease wastes and production time, optimize flow…
- Define, develop, and maintain operating modes: create & maintain standard Operating Procedures and Sequences (SOS/SOP), Flowcharts, Infrastructure requirements and other standards or design transfer deliverables. It includes:
- Managing the lifecycle of commercial items (accessories, consumables, maintenance spare-parts…) changes in procurement type and associated BOM (Bill of Material) structure for sourcing; verify technical aspects of ECO (Engineering Change Order)
- Manage parts in ERP/PLM to ensure proper execution of defined industrial models and R&D (Research and Development) requirements
- REX: Check & analyse non conformities for the sub-assemblies based on Manufacturing reports
- Logistic aspects (packaging, environmental conditions, customs…)
- Tooling aspects
- You participate to Core team for new configuration items and to the first unit review in manufacturing area; coordinate the tasks within a category of activity; ensure the follow-up and SLA commitments
- Provide level 2 support during production to all MSC (Manufacturing and Supply Chain) department and for escalated/transversal issues
- Develop manufacturing & logistic best practices expertise and processing intelligence
What we value
You have:
- Master in Engineering or equivalent
- A first experience in a complex industrial environment (e.g within Manufacturing, Industrialization or R&D (Research and Development) departments)
- Excellent understanding of industrialization processes and requirements
- Experience with PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) tool is an asset
- Experience in interacting with R&D (Research and Development) department is a plus
- A practical, hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- Your excellent communication skills allow you to act as interface and facilitator
- Ability to collect and translate and formalize needs into processes and systems
- Ability to manage complexity, bring clarity and propose technical solutions
- Very good command of English, both oral and written
