Mission
As a Lead Instructional Designer at IBA, you will manage a team of training content developers and graphic designers to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Reporting to the Head of Training, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and learning objectives. Your corporate background and expertise in instructional design methodologies, multimedia development, and adult learning principles will be key to the success of our training programs.
Challenges we trust you with
- Manage and mentor a team of content developers and graphic designers to meet Proton Therapy training needs.
- Collaborate with curriculum owners and stakeholders to define program learning objectives and content requirements.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for designing learning experiences that align with organizational goals.
- Structure and sequence training materials to support effective learning processes.
- Apply appropriate instructional methods, techniques, and media to enhance understanding and retention.
- Ensure content alignment with instructional goals and audience needs.
- Implement assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
- Integrate relevant technologies, such as simulations and e-learning platforms.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for accuracy and consistency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate instructional content into broader training programs.
What we value
You have and you are :
- 3 to 5 years of experience in instructional design within a corporate environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Creative and innovative approach to designing learning experiences.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and related technologies.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in quality assurance reviews.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
Experience in the medical devices or high-tech industry is a plus.
