Taks & responsibilities

The test bench shall be redesigned from mechanical point of view to fit new HPv3c interfaces. Also PLC monitoring & control shall be improved to ease user access & operations.

As internship within engineering department, you will have the responsibility of:

• Understanding the user needs and compare it to current material solution
• Propose a mechanical design based on commercial components to adapt the bench
• Perform the bench mechanical upgrade
• Develop and document the PLC new functionalities
• Within the scope of equipment development process, provide several deliverables:
  • Risk analysis linked to the use of the test bench
  • Verification plan
  • Functional specifications update
  • User manual update
• Conduct test bench reception test
• Conduct hand pendant test campaign & report

Expected skills

• Student in automation or electro-mechanical field
• With competency in PLC development (software CoDeSys shall be used within this project)
• Solution oriented mind
• Able to work in team and autonomously
• With good project management skills (good communication, deliver on time & on budget, …)
