Mission

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at IBA. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences. You will report to the head of training and you will lead the content unit composed of training content developers and graphic designers. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and learning objectives. Your expertise in instructional design methodologies, multimedia development, and adult learning principles with a focus on the “How” of the learning will contribute to the success of our training programs.

Challenges we trust you with

•    Lead a team of content developers and graphic designers to comply with the PT training needs.
•    Collaborate with curriculum owners and stakeholders to identify program learning objectives and content requirements.
•    Develop a comprehensive strategy for designing learning experiences that align with organizational goals and meet specific learning objectives.
•    Define the structure and flow of training materials, ensuring a logical and effective sequence that supports the learning process.
•    Select and apply appropriate instructional methods, techniques, and media to enhance understanding and retention of information.
•    Work closely with content developers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure content is aligned with instructional goals and meets the needs of the audience.
•    Lead and coach Training Content developers and graphic designers on the quality expected.
•    Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
•    Create assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training programs and ensure learning objectives are met.
•    Explore and recommend the integration of relevant technologies, such as simulation, e-learning platforms, and interactive elements.
•    conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with program learning objectives.
•    Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including curriculum owners, to ensure seamless integration of instructional content into broader training programs.

You have and you are : 

•    Profound knowledge of instructional design principles, methodologies, and adult learning theories.
•    Strong collaborative skills to work closely with subject matter experts, curriculum owners, and other team members.
•    Ability to think creatively and innovate in the design of the learning experience to enhance the learning programs.
•    Familiarity with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), simulators, and other relevant technologies.
•    Attention to detail and proficiency in conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of instructional content.
•    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex concepts clearly and understandably.
•    Excellent communication skills in English
•    Nice to have instructional design experience in the medical devices or high-tech industry.
