In this function, your principal mission will consist of ensuring the effective design and maintenance of the product control software architecture. 

Challenges we trust you with

• Architect the software of assigned components, ensuring a long-term vision aligned with the BU product roadmap.
• Manage software development (resources vs tasks vs time) using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
• Write test scenarios at the integration level and ensure unit tests are properly developed.
• Support the improvement of software development methodologies and collaborate with the product manager.
• Translate high-level user requirements into specific technical requirements.
• Support developers in their daily tasks.
• Choose appropriate software development tools with the validation of the responsible process and tools, and deploy development environments.
• Train and support engineers in installing the component.

What we value

• You are a Software or Automation Engineer or have equivalent experience.
• You have ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support junior developers.
• Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing requirements and priorities.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• You are familiar with the Scrum framework.
• You know how to use Jira and Confluence.
• You have a basic knowledge of Siemens and/or Rockwell PLCs.
• You are open to traveling on average 10% of your time.
• You are B2-C1 in English and ideally fluent in French.
