Indirect Sourcing Manager

Mission
As Indirect Purchasing Manager, you define and implement the Indirect Sourcing Procedures and strategies.
You lead a team of experienced indirect buyers and ensure coordination with internal customers (Support services (Com, HR, Legal, Fin, Quality), R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing...). You manage relationships with suppliers, aiming at enhancing performances in terms of Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation. You define Preferred Supplier lists to ensure company guideline match optimized contracts with selected vendors.
You are responsible for planning and administrating procurement activities within the Indirect Sourcing team.
Challenges we trust you with
- Define a Specific Indirect purchasing process that match business needs and specificities of the categories
- Participate to the definition and the improvement of the transversal processes and coordinate with the related departments
- Lead, Manage, Coordinate indirect sourcing team (resources, Planning)
- Develop innovative approaches to sourcing while using analytics and processes to determine scenarios, benefits, risks and change management impact of each of those options
- Identify Automatization opportunities to eliminate non-value-added time for indirect buyers
- Define, get approval on and implement the sourcing strategy by purchasing family supported by a sourcing analysis
- Validate the list of suppliers to be considered for the Sourcing Process in line with the sourcing strategy, comparative TCA table and formal decision award with all parties involved
- Analyze Escalated issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Maintain a spend analysis and identify and support future spending
- In close collaboration with the internal customers, challenge the Demand (buy less, buy differently) and manage key suppliers contact and contacts and manage claims against suppliers for unsatisfactory materials or services ; participate in the evaluation of suppliers
- Ensure procurement is realized according to internal customers' planning
- Analyze Escalated issues and implement appropriate solutions
What we value
You have:
- 10 years of experience in Indirect purchasing, including at least 5 years as Team manager. Experience in Industrial Sectors (Medical Devices, Automotive,...) is a "plus"
- Proven experience in process implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills applicable for negotiating, clarifying, and collaborating
- Advanced people management and leadership skills, with proven ability to influence at all levels and across business lines
- A full proficiency level in French and English
