Head of Treasury

Mission

As Lead of Treasury, you define and lead IBA’s global treasury strategy while ensuring reliable day-to-day treasury operations. You oversee cash management and forecasting, liquidity optimization, funding, customer financing and financial risk management.

Based at the Louvain-la-Neuve headquarters, you support the Group’s business priorities across all entities.

Challenges we trust you with

· Strategic treasury leadership:

• Define and execute IBA’s treasury and financing strategy
• Ensure alignment with long‑term corporate objectives

· Cash flow planning and liquidity optimization:

• Oversee short-, medium- and long-term cash flow forecasts;
• Monitor variances against actuals;
• Implement corrective actions when required;
• Optimize cash allocation across the Group’s 20+ global entities to ensure sufficient liquidity and timely support to business.

· Treasury systems, reporting and digitalization:

• Lead the deployment of IBA’s Treasury Management System;
• Promote digitalization, process automation and data quality;
• Strengthen treasury reporting through business intelligence tools to improve accuracy, efficiency and management visibility.

· Funding and capital structure:

• Lead financing initiatives that support operational needs, growth projects, and capital structure optimization;
• Drive negotiations with financial institutions to secure competitive financing conditions

· Customer financing:

• Support commercial activities by facilitating competitive trade & export finance offerings

· Financial risk management and controls:

• Monitor, assess and manage financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, liquidity and credit exposures;
• Implement appropriate hedging strategies, documentation and controls
• Ensure regular reporting of key risk indicators to support timely decision-making.

· Stakeholder engagement:

• Foster strong relationships with banks, credit insurers, and relevant internal stakeholders;
• Represent Treasury in cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring consistent communication and alignment

What we value

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate treasury within an international environment; proven track record in a leadership role
• Experience in an industrial environment is a big asset
• Technical skills: Proficiency in ERP (S4/Hana is a strong plus) and treasury management systems; knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a strong asset
• Languages: Fluent in English and French

Compensation package

The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable, and car budget in specific locations) for this position is provided below:

Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 112200 – 170600

The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
