Mission
As a Head of Global Field Service Engineers team, you’ll play a strategic role in leading a team of Field Service Managers spread in the world to ensure alignment business operations & strategy withing the Industrial Solutions division.
Challenges we trust you with
The Head of Global Field Service Engineers ensures that the FSE Managers apply uniform standards in team management, reporting, and skill development for the Field Service Engineers. They also ensure alignment with business objectives and the satisfaction of internal stakeholders.
This position reports directly to the Operational Director and is part of the Deliver department.
Managing Field Service Managers:
- Provide leadership and oversight to Field Service Managers by setting clear objectives, establishing KPIs, and monitoring performance through regular reviews.
- Mentor and support Field Service Managers in overcoming operational challenges, fostering both professional growth and leadership within their teams.
Operational Efficiency
- Collaborate with regional Field Service Managers to identify improvement and implement standard operating procedures.
- Partner with the Training Department and Technical Leads to deliver standardized training that ensures high level of expertise across Field Engineering teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity: reduce operational costs and maintain high quality service delivery.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with the Head of Project Management and Customer Success teams.
- Implement satisfaction surveys and track corrective actions.
- Facilitate stakeholder management and ensure effective cross functional communication.
Strategy Development and Planning
- Participate in macro-planning; forecasting staffing needs based on growth and sales.
- Define and deploy a recruitment and training strategy for FSE's.
- Identify tools and processes to improve team management.
