Mission

 

The mission of the H&S team is to: 


•    Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety requirements.
•    Proactively drive and sustain a strong H&S culture throughout the Company by assisting in the development and implementation of effective H&S Programs.
•    Monitor the implementation, efficiency and direction of the EHS Programs in line with the Company Strategy.
•    Define and Develop Key Performance Indicators allowing the business to proactively drive H&S Performance. 

Challenges we trust you with

 

As H&S Associate, your responsibilities will be to: 

 

•    Identify and maintain H&S legal registers.
•    Support IBA’s Business Units in the necessary actions and activities to maintain H&S compliance.
•    Conduct H&S inspections/walking tours and risk assessments.
•    Participate in design review and integration of safety standards from a product point of view.
•    Develop and implement policies and procedures related to safety and health programs.
•    Develop H&S training content and communication tools for increased awareness and practical approach.
•    Review IBA manuals and procedures from an H&S perspective.
•    Follow the H&S incident reporting – monthly dashboard of high-priority incidents and their monitoring.
•    Contribute to the development and distribution of routine H&S KPIs.
•    Encourage and widen the use of H&S SharePoint as a communication tool for best practices and information gathering. 

What we value


You have:

 

•    Master’s or bachelor’s degree in any field or an associate degree in health and safety (e.g. safety advisor certification).
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in H&S or related work experience
•    Good knowledge of core H&S principles
•    Good understanding of industry best practices

•    Able to successfully communicate and establish work relationships within all the organization
•    Problem-solving oriented
•    Able to negotiate and influence
•    Able to create awareness and compliance environment
•    Fluent in English 
•    Willing to travel abroad
