Your Role: Field Service Manager
We’re looking for a Field Service Manager with strong leadership skills to guide a team responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of IBA’s equipment and systems. Your goal is to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, fully operational products that meet performance standards.
Your Responsibilities
Operational
• Coordinate scheduling of maintenance, installation, upgrades, and emergencies.
• Forecast workload and manpower needs.
• Participate in operational and safety meetings.
• Manage customer support requests, mission reports, and product knowledge updates.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, HR, and radiation protection policies.
People Management
• Supervise FSEs in Belgium and abroad.
• Act as escalation contact for urgent technical issues (including duty period).
• Conduct monthly one-on-ones and manage team workload and priorities.
• Support soft skills development and training follow-up.
• Recruit and onboard new FSEs.
Technical
• Oversee test activities and team assignments.
• Mentor junior FSEs and act as technical liaison with IBA.
Administrative
• Lead performance reviews and KPI tracking.
• Validate SAP timesheets and coordinate with HR.
• Support new hires and monitor team budget.
• Ensure team compliance with process
Continuous Improvement
• Improve scheduling tools and team workload distribution.
• Optimize operational processes and recruitment flows.
Your Profile
Must-have:
• Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in people management or equivalent
• Strong skills in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of French is a plus
