As a Field Service Engineer - Radiopharma Systems, you will be a key player in bringing life-saving technologies to hospitals worldwide.
You will focus particularly on the high-energy (>30 MeV) accelerator components at customer locations. Your expertise ensures seamless interventions on advanced systems that have a real impact.
You ensure the highest standards in delivering advanced technologies and services. As a specialist in innovative solutions, you’ll represent IBA with confidence and expertise.
Key responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer - Radiopharma Systems,
- You will help deliver a final, reliable working product within defined timelines that matches quality, performance and customer satisfaction requirements
- You install equipment/systems accordingly to the defined planning, procedure timelines and operating processes
- You debug and report bugs to the R&D Team, and you oversee testing equipment/systems according to the specifications
- You also maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule, and repair equipment/systems taking all necessary actions to solve problems
- You train less experienced colleagues to use properly and safely equipment/systems
- You document and report interventions and actions undertaken in CMMS, with the required level of details and accuracy
- With the rest of the team, you are on call to provide a helpdesk service and respond to various problems of our clients
Skills and Qualifications
We are searching for an adventurous and “hands on” Engineer with an excellent team spirit, eager to learn and willing to travel worldwilde.
You have
- A Master’s degree in electro-mechanics or equivalent through experience
- Successful experience, ideally in high-energy physics, nuclear medicine, high-frequency systems, or in troubleshooting magnet power supplies, radar systems, or optical beam systems
- Proven expertise in root-cause analysis, with the ability to lead large-scale system troubleshooting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and the IBA team
And you are
- A driven, proactive and hands-on individual
- Able to organize your work autonomously and take initiatives
- A team player with very good communication skills
- Willing to travel up to 60% of your time, including mostly week-ends
- Willing to work different shift times, when necessary
- Capable of handling pressure in stressful situations
- Capable of adapting to different cultures and various interlocutors
