As a Field Service Engineer you will work in the IBA RadioPharma solutions business line. It is the world leader for the supply of PET & SPECT cyclotrons from 3 Mev to 70 MeV for radiopharmaceuticals production. IBA RadioPharma Solutions has a Worldwide installed base above 300 cyclotrons on which we propose maintenance & innovative development.
We offer you the opportunity to join a service team of more than 50 people based in Belgium but also Northern America, Russia, China and South-East Asia, with support of all Iba's expertise and technologies.
You will work within a fully dedicated and passionate team of polyvalent engineers that is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of IBA equipment that produce isotopes, both on customers’ sites as on IBA’s premises.
You deliver a final reliable working product, matching quality, performance and customer satisfaction requirements within defined timelines.
Challenges we trust you with
To achieve your mission you will:
• install equipment accordingly to the defined planning, timelines and operating processes
• troubleshoot any problem occurring and inform the Development Team accordingly
• test equipment in compliance with specifications
• maintain equipment according to the maintenance schedule, and take all necessary actions in order to repair equipment when needed
• be the Technical Owner and Advisor for our customers
• train IBA’s customers to properly and safely use equipment. You advise them about available spare parts and upgrades
• document and report any interventions with the required level of details and accuracy
What we value

You have:
- A Master’s Degree in electro-mechanics or equivalent by experience (New graduates are welcome)
- Experience in root-cause analysis or large-scale system troubleshooting and installation are an asset but not mandatory
- Very good oral and written skills in English
- Very good communication skills with customers and IBA team
And you also are:
- A driven, proactive and hands-on individual
- Able to organize your work autonomously and take initiatives
- A team player with very good communication skills
- Willing to travel up to 60% of your time, including mostly week-ends
- Willing to work different shift times, when necessary
