Facility Interface Engineer

As a specialist in construction, you provide support to IBA prospects and customer to design the clinical facility that will welcome their future proton therapy system.

You also help the sales and marketing team to use the building and its interface as a competitive tool by demonstrating the cost effectiveness of the total solution.

You are also proactive in exploring new business opportunities around linked to your field of expertise.

Finally, you negotiate with design and build partners in order to complement IBA's solution portfolio.

Challenges we trust you with

  • Provide support and expertise to the sales team for any building related issues: compile and review of deliverable documents during prospection
  • Develop a network of sub contractors, potential partners and related resources
  • Develop and coordinate concept design options, key construction schemes with builders and/or architects to support customers on flow management
  • Gather and consolidate information, in particular on innovations, improvement in the construction and architecture fields
  • Train and give technical support/instructions to the external partners in construction
  • Support Sales Managers activities
  • Ensure up the date clinical and/or technical data of IBA and competitors products
  • Develop a complete business knowledge about proton therapy facility

What we value

You have

  • An experience as business developer or as a sales person with knowledge in construction: at least 3 years of experience
  • An international experience (asset)
  • A bachelor or a master degree in construction (equivalent by your experience)

And you also are:

  • You are able to detect new business opportunities
  • You have excellent communication skills both in French and in English
  • You are a flexible and stress resistant person with very good planning & organizing skills
  • You are able to organize your work autonomously and you enjoy taking initiatives
  • You are able to travel from 30% to 80 % of your time, depending on your project and your organisation

To create a strong relationship with your colleagues and colleagues from other departments, we will ask you to come at least 1 day each week or 1 week each month in Belgium.
