Project Engineer

Mission
Within a team of 20 engineers, you will:
- Act as a project engineer to technically follow up and challenge products/systems development
- Be the technical arm of the project manager during subsystem development phase (processes, procedures, or specifications) based on project and customer specifications
- Act as subsystems owner along with all stakeholders (Manufacturing, service and maintain dept, …)
Challenges we trust you with
You will:
- Lead, summarize, challenge, and arbitrate technical meeting together with technical experts and project manager
- Lead development team on dedicated discipline together with the project manager
- Analyze, calculate, and evaluate the feasibility of the hardware solution according to specifications (technical,quality, etc.)
- Design and test the selected solution for a new product/process or to optimize an existing product/process
- Transfer engineering documentation necessary for the manufacture of products, up to assembly or subcontracting and process of development
- Document the hardware implementation
- Apply hardware development methodologies, frameworks, processes, and standards
- Provide support to internal and external customers
What we value
You have:
- A Master degree in (Engineering) Industry in Electronics or mechatronics
- Experience in design using System On Chip (Intel-Altera) and network communications (Ethernet, PHY/MAC, switch).
- An industrial experience (> 5 years), medical device experience is an asset
- Experience in R&D with hardware development responsibilities
- Experience defining user and systems specifications and familiar with requirements management tools, such as Polarion or Doors
- Good communication skills in French and/or English
- Leading technical project in cross department team
