As an Electromechanical / Electronics Development Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of dosimetry and Quality Assurance solutions. From early concept definition to product validation and industrialization, you will transform ideas into innovative devices that help clinicians deliver safer and more accurate treatments.

 

You will work in a multidisciplinary and highly innovative environment where electronics, mechanics, software and medical technologies come together to create solutions with a genuine impact on patient care.

Mission

  • Acting at the very beginning of the R&D process, you will elaborate on the concept of the electromechanical/electronics solution, based on the needs of our customers
  • From the concept, you will be responsible for the detailed design, and specification of assemblies and all constituting parts
  • You will analyze, calculate and evaluate the feasibility of the solution according to specifications (technical, quality, budget, etc.)
  • You will design, implement and document the selected solution for a new product or optimize an existing product
  • You will design Schematics and PCBs
  • You will oversee identifying relevant manufacturers
  • You will transfer engineering documentation necessary for the manufacture of products, up to assembly or subcontracting and process of development
  • You will create and maintain product/project nomenclature including non-commercial articles
  • You will perform tests (unit, integration, validation, etc., troubleshoot and retest updated equipment/product)
  • You will participate in the prototyping (e.g. 3D printing) and first assembling of new devices
  • You will apply electromechanical/electronics development methodologies, frameworks, processes and standards

What we value

 

You have:

  • A master’s degree in electromechanical or electronics engineering with deep interest in other domains
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar function in R&D
  • Relevant experience in mechatronics/electronics design is an asset
  • Experience in ALTIUM or other E-CAD is an asset
  • An excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)

  • A dynamic agile team-player, able to work in a small team with the advantage of being part of a large international group
  • Hands-on, willing to go beyond the design of the product and to handle a large scope (design, prototype, test on site and validation of the products)

  • Autonomous, able to identify priorities, in a highly innovative environment with state-of-the art technologies
  • Able to take initiatives, to propose innovative solutions, and to act proactively
  • Ready to travel 20% of your time

Compensation package

 

The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable, and car budget in specific locations) for this position is provided below:

 

Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 46600 - 72300 €

 

The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
