Electrical Designer

Mission
As part of a team of 12 electrical designers and engineers, you'll be tasked with designing electrical systems and creating electrical documentation for projects related to proton therapy, industrial solutions, and radiopharmaceuticals. Installations like Proteus One require over 30 various electrical cabinets and approximately 17 km of cables on-site. The team focuses on maintaining product electrical documentation and defining the latest versions of cabinets and associated cables for new features, upgrades, and improvements.
Challenges we trust you with
- Contributing to IBA projects as an electrical designer and overseeing related activities: feasibility, concept, design, review, specification, cable definition, corrections of previous designs, etc.
- Designing, creating, and updating electrical assembly drawings and specifications.
- Defining wiring lists: cables, connectors, types, segregation, routing, length, bill of materials.
- Creating and maintaining product documentation.
What we value
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- A first similar experience
- Possess knowledge and experience in the design of complex projects, preferably with Eplan
- Have familiarity with a diverse range of equipment including circuit-breakers, contactors, PLC, relays, motor drives, magnets, etc
- Understand electrical safety standards such as Elec Calc and based on IEC/EN 60204 ("Safety of machinery. Electrical equipment of machines"), IEC/EN 61439 ("Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies") or equivalent, which is an asset
- Have good communication skills in French and/or English
