Conveyor Integration Engineer

Mission

In our Industrial Business Unit, IBA designs and delivers advanced industrial solutions worldwide. 

As a Conveyor Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, integration, and continuous improvement of our conveyor systems and process control solutions. 

You will contribute both to technical design for new projects and on-site validation of installed equipment, collaborating closely with Sales, R&D, Product Management, and Innovation teams. 

Challenges we trust you with

  • Prepare, coordinate, and validate the installation of new conveyor systems on customer sites, working with internal and external partners.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the installed base through service desk tickets, upgrades, and maintenance follow-up.
  • Ensure technical compliance of each project with sold specifications, in collaboration with R&D, Regulatory, and Product departments.
  • Create and manage technical documentation aligned with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze customer needs and identify the best technical solution from our product catalog.
  • Conduct pre-engineering studies for customized solutions, from needs definition to final offer.
  • Present and defend proposed solutions internally (offer committees) and externally (clients, trade shows, conferences).
  • Provide technical and ROI calculations to support commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate technical solution definition across different regions.
  • Continuously improve tools and processes related to solution offerings.
  • Leverage field feedback to enhance future designs and installations. 

Your profile

  • Degree in engineering or industrial sciences, ideally with a focus on Automation or Mechatronics.
  • 3+ years of experience in an international and technical environment.
  • Hands-on experience with conveyor systems, this is a must-have.
  • Solid understanding of process control systems and automation (Siemens PLCs).
  • Strong skills in technical documentation and project coordination.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (B2+), French is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% (missions typically lasting 2–3 weeks).
