Are you passionate about using physics to make a real-world impact? Join a dynamic team of 5 experts dedicated to advancing cancer therapy. You will help implement new treatment modalities, build international collaborations, and establish next-generation solutions in Particle Therapy.

 

As part of the Particle Therapy Dosimetry team, your mission is to develop solutions that reduce the installation time of Particle Therapy centers while improving the efficiency and accuracy of machine and patient plan verifications. Working with the latest technologies in an entrepreneurial environment, you will drive the physics aspects of our innovations from concept to clinical validation.

Challenges we trust you with

 

As a Clinical Physicist, you will:

 

  • Develop new dosimetry equipment tailored for Particle Therapy, with a strong emphasis on software solutions, including Monte Carlo simulations. These solutions will improve machine QA, patient QA, machine calibration, and commissioning processes with ever-greater precision and efficiency;
  • Analyze, calculate, and assess the feasibility of new equipment according to specifications;
  • Implement and validate physics algorithms;
  • Lead final validation of new devices on-site, in compliance with relevant standards and requirements;
  • Act as a key technical contact for interface definitions, technical queries, and internal training material development;
  • Define product physics requirements based on market needs and technological trends;
  • Conduct studies, interpret data, and contribute to understanding the clinical and operational impact of our solutions;
  • Attend international conferences (e.g., ESTRO, PTCOG) to stay at the forefront of technological advances and bring new insights to the team;
  • Collaborate internationally with key players and opinion leaders in the field of radiation oncology.

What we value

 

To excel in this role, you bring:

 

  • A Master’s degree in Physics (or equivalent experience); a PhD or specialization in Medical Physics is a plus;
  • Familiarity with the radiation therapy market and medical devices is an advantage;
  • A strong interest in new technologies and a commitment to continuous learning;
  • Hands-on experimental skills with a methodical and organized approach;
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously;
  • Creativity, innovation, and a collaborative spirit;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
  • A customer-oriented attitude, with strong abilities to present and explain complex ideas clearly;
  • Willingness to travel 10% to 20% (approximately 2 to 4 days per month).
