Mission

IBA is hiring the installation team for Hyderabad’s second Proton Therapy (PT) Center. The PT center will be home to IBA Proteus One, featuring a compact one-room solution powered by a superconducting synchrocyclotron. The installation is expected to start between November 2026 and February 2027. It will be delivered within 12 months by an IBA team of 9 motivated individuals. The Site Manager installation mission is expected to last ~18 months, including pre-assignment training and support for the site's transition to Operations.

Challenges we trust you with

As Site Manager, you are responsible for leading the installation and start-up of the new proton Therapy center in Hyderabad.

• Leading a team of approximately 1 logistics & administrative assistant and 7 engineers who are in charge of the installation of the Proton Therapy site
• Leading and promoting Health and Safety on site
• Coordinating overall activities on site and managing the project priorities
• Managing logistics and material aspects and liaising with the subcontractors (supplies, storage, etc.)
• Ensuring the customer’s and IBA internal requirements are met in term of compliance, technical performance, timing and budget
• Setting up quality processes and maintaining quality control procedures and documentation
• Preparing budget reports, documenting global activities and improvement plans
• Providing local Accounting
• Ensuring strong communication with the external and internal customers
• Supervising the team and managing all human resources tasks (time policy, planning, etc.)
• Promoting a high-performance culture and motivating the team

What we value

You have:

• A Master’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Electro-mechanics, mechanics or biomedical)
• A strong people management mindset, proven leadership skills and experience managing a team in an medical or industrial environment
• A solid technical experience in Proton Therapy or a specific subsystem with key strengths in practical applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
