If you have experience in finance or payroll processing, we are interested in talking with you about a position in our company as a payroll associate. In this position, you will work independently to ensure that all USA IBA colleagues get their paychecks delivered accurately and on time. Your knowledge and experience with payroll taxes and deductions are vital in order to be successful in this role. It is also essential to have a solid understanding of employee attendance procedures and leave arrangements. You will make payroll adjustments, audits, voids, direct deposits and termination checks. With your department, you will also prepare payroll reports that detail wages and labor costs to the company.

Challenges we trust you with
- Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, over time, shift pay, taxes, and other deductions and contributions on a biweekly pay frequency.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates and locations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions and ensures that that totals balance and records agree across both systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Monitor tax filings completed by third-party provider to validate timely filings and remittance. If discrepancies or untimely filings are identified, work with third-party to resolve.
- Facilitate audits by providing ad hoc reports, records, and documentation to auditors.
- Troubleshoot issues within ADP Workforce Now software and look to remedy.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
- Research and resolve payroll-related issues or errors as they arise and communicate resolution via email and/or phone.
- Work in partnership with teammates located overseas whom assist with audit protocols.
- Administer wage attachment/garnishment processing and setup along with contacting all parties as mandated by the order.
- Organize and file final payroll tax and register reports generated by ADP.
- Verify that 401k contribution changes have been uploaded and reflect timely on paychecks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What we value
You have:
- Three to five years of experience in a role where the primary responsibility is payroll administration and processing is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with minimal oversight and able to manage strict deadlines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Team player with an ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
- Proficient with ADP WorkForce Now, and a plus if familiar with Success Factors SAP payroll software.
