Mission

 

Responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment that is essential to the Proton Therapy System (PTS),troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine preventative maintenance, conducting system inspections,and communicating the system's status to leadership and other stakeholders, support hardware and softwaretesting, and be involved in all phases of PTS maintenance, including unit testing, integration testing, validationtesting, and other site-related activities, which affect global operations.

Challenges we trust you with

 

  • Maintain and deploy the Proton Therapy System (PTS) for various customer needs, which will include but notbe limited to: QA, Development, Software/Hardware Testing, Troubleshooting, and Experimentation.
  • Troubleshoot PTS equipment including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
  • Perform maintenance of the PTS including but not limited to routine preventative maintenance, systemupgrades, and corrective maintenance as necessary.
  • Perform system inspections and clearly communicate the status of the system to leadership as well as to IBAemployees.
  • Provide support to PTS Hardware and Software testing.
  • Support daily clinical operations for the customer clinical staff as defined by the Site Manager and SiteTechnical Leader (STL) in accordance with site policies.
  • Maintain adequate records as defined by the customer and Site Manager in accordance with company QA andFDA regulations.
  • Support the PTS in all phases, which will include but not be limited to unit testing, integration testing, validationtesting and other various site related activities as the Site Manager and STL defines them.
  • Coach and support new hires and peers in a career progression path.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

What we value

 

You have:

  • B.S. in Engineering, Physics or other applicable field, or a High School diploma or Associate’s Degree with 3+years of relevant work experience, such as hands-on electrical, mechanical system repair, troubleshooting,maintenance of large integrated systems.
  • 3+ years' experience in electrical/mechanical system repair, troubleshooting, maintenance of large integratedsystems.
  • Candidate should have experience in several of the following: Cyclotrons, Electronics, Mechanical Systems,Software Analysis, X-Ray Systems, Positioning Equipment, Cooling Systems, Vacuum Systems, PLC’s(Siemens), Regulation Loops, Drivers, Sensors, Electric Motors, Radars, High Voltage Equipment, PowerSupplies, Proton Therapy Systems, etc.
  • Solid general knowledge of/experience with - MS Suite: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Knowledge of local EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of LINUX systems, SAP, Siemens Step 7, and Service Max is a plus.
  • Experience in LEAN maintenance and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

 

The approximate annual base salary range for this position is provided below. Within this range, individualcompensation is influenced by various factors such as location, job-specific skills, work experience, and relevanteducation or training. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses, profit sharing, commissions, andbenefits.

 

Approximate Range
$78,200 – 103,000 USD
