Mission
IBA Industrial (https://www.iba-industrial.com) is looking for a Site Engineer to join our team. As a vital member of our dedicated customer team, the Site Engineer will manage and ensure the optimal performance of our state-of-the-art accelerator-based system, located at the customer site, which produces crucial radioisotopes for medical applications.
Challenges we trust you with
- Maintain and deploy the system for various customer needs, which will include but not be limited to: QA, Development, Software/Hardware Testing, Troubleshooting, and Experimentation.
- Troubleshoot system equipment including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
- Perform maintenance of the system including but not limited to routine preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and corrective maintenance as necessary.
- Perform system inspections and clearly communicate the status of the system to leadership as well as to IBA employees.
- Provide support to system hardware and software testing.
- Support daily clinical operations for the customer staff as defined by the Field Service Manager in accordance with site policies.
- Maintain adequate records as defined by the customer and Field Service Manager in accordance with company QA and FDA regulations.
- Support the IBA’s systems in all phases, which will include but not be limited to unit testing, integration testing, validation testing and other various site related activities as the Field Service Manager defines them.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
What we value
You have:
- B.S. in Engineering, Physics or other applicable field, or an Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- 3+ years' experience in electrical/mechanical system repair, troubleshooting, maintenance of large integrated systems.
- Candidate should have experience in several of the following: Cyclotrons, Electronics, Mechanical Systems, Software Analysis, X-Ray Systems, Positioning Equipment, Cooling Systems, Vacuum Systems, PLC’s (Siemens), Regulation Loops, Drivers, Sensors, Electric Motors, High Voltage Equipment, Power Supplies, Proton Therapy Systems, etc.
- Solid general knowledge of/experience with Microsoft products: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.
And you also are:
- Customer oriented.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Driven, proactive, intellectually curious, resourceful and a hands-on person.
- Able to follow rules, regulations, and be able to deliver on strict deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: Approx. $87,000 – $106,000 (based on experience, location, and education)
