The Oncia Community foundation, a fast-growing not-for-profit organization with a global reach endorsed by IBA and its partners, is dedicated to   humanizing cancer care by ensuring that all patients benefit from a holistic and human-centric approach throughout their cancer journey. This means not only focusing on the disease through treatment but also addressing the individual's physical, emotional, and social dimensions with complementary care.

Challenges we trust you with

 

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Fundraising Manager will lead global fundraising strategies crucial for the development of Oncia Community. 


Your primary focus will be proactively securing new long-term funding both locally and globally. Leveraging your extensive international network, you will target fundraising from industries within the medical sector and other related sectors, as well as from major donors, legacies, events, and grants.
 
Your efforts will have a direct impact on patients and their loved ones

Key responsibilities

 

• Identify funding opportunities aligned with the Foundation's mission and objectives.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive global fundraising strategy, prioritizing industrial partners and the establishment of an industry consortium of donors.
• Establish win-win partnerships by developing loyalty programs offering services that meet donors' needs to foster long-term engagement.
• Coordinate fundraising events and initiatives to mobilize supporters and increase donations.
• Manage donor communications.
• Analyze fundraising activities to optimize strategy and improve results.

What we value

 

  • You hold a Master's Degree.
  • You are ready to work on a Freelance status (part-time, 1 or 2 days/ week)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Fundraising/Sales/Business development preferably in Medical/Healthcare sectors.
  • You have ideally a strong international network.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in written and oral English communication.
  • Results-driven mindset fueled by passion for advancing healthcare.
