Mission
The Account Manager is responsible for nurturing and growing long-term relationships with customers within their designated region. This role ensures customer satisfaction, drives loyalty, and supports business development across both new equipment and services. As a key member of the Account Management team within the Customer Success department, the Account Manager will work in close collaboration with Sales Managers (New Equipment & Services), Technical Account Managers, Application Specialists, and Project Managers to deliver value across the entire customer lifecycle.
Challenges we trust you with
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for your assigned accounts.
- Manage and escalate critical customer issues in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring resolution and communication.
- Develop and execute account strategies for your region in alignment with IBA's growth objectives.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with customer stakeholders, from operational to executive levels.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts involving sales, technical, and project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless delivery.
- Identify opportunities for upselling (equipment, upgrades, features…) and cross-selling services in close collaboration with the sales managers
- Support the P&L of customer service activities by coordinating with TAMs and Admins to ensure efficient planning, execution, and customer alignment.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction through a set of KPI’s and lead initiatives to improve Net Promoter Scores and uptime.
- Gather valuable insights on the market, customers, and competitors to share with the market intelligence team and CS colleagues.
- Represent the “voice of the customer” internally to influence product development and service improvements.
- Actively prepare for user meetings and implement action reports.
- Help create an “IBA user community”.
What we value
You have:
- A Master degree in technical orientation, and you have a 2-3 y. relevant experience in a customer-facing position
- A long-term approach as we deal within long sales cycles
- A strong ability to handle constructive, long-term and efficient customer relationships
- A strong ability to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- A fluent knowledge of French and English

- Client oriented, ensuring efficient sales processes and professional contacts
- Hands-on, driven and self-starter to go and pick-up the right information
- Proactive and eager to learn, to improve and gain responsibility
- Able to take the lead and relevant initiatives in your scope of action
- Accurate and rigorous, able to plan organize your work autonomously;
- An assertive team player with strong interpersonal skills;
- Ready to travel up to 20% of your time
