As a Service Software Engineer, you will:
• Daily Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of installed equipment and systems, meeting key performance indicators like throughput, customer satisfaction, and uptime.
• Preventive Maintenance: Maintain hardware and software subsystems with strict adherence to compliance, quality, and performance standards.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and repair equipment/systems, documenting issues and resolving challenges efficiently.
• Installation & Testing: Install, test, and fine-tune systems based on technical specifications and procedures.
• Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously document interventions and actions with accuracy and clarity.
• Safety First: Uphold a safe and optimized work environment, following all safety and regulatory guidelines (e.g., radioprotection, electrical risk).
• Customer Training: Empower customers to operate IBA equipment safely and effectively, and coach less experienced field engineers.

What we value
You have:
- Master’s degree in engineering (electronics or automation) or an equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
- At least 4+ years' experience in software with electrical/mechanical system repair, troubleshooting, maintenance of large integrated systems.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Windows, an intermediate knowledge of Java and C/C++ programming and an experience with Clear case and Subversion software repositories and with virtualization, Python development, and Linux environment optimization.
- Networking experience (administration of switches, firewalls, DNS, debugging, etc.).
- An experience in operating complex systems.
- A basic understanding of circuits and electrical work, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of local EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations.
