Transportation administrator

Mission

Organize the transportation activities in order to ensure the efficient flow of materials and parts for supply Operations with materials, spare parts, equipment, products (including SPECT/PET) in respect with all quality, regulatory, safety, timing and costs requirements.

Challenges we trust you with

In close collaboration with the Warehouse team, your role will be:

  • receive operations requests and collect all necessary information to organize the transport (between all point of external warehouse and the clients)
  • plan and coordinate transport activities according to priorities, monitor and update the planning according the workload and emergencies
  • administer and follow-up the transports
  • check and approve invoices
  • develop and maintain relationship with suppliers and subcontractors
  • propose improvements in order to optimize transportation process
  • manage and ensure follow up of claims and queries: freight, insurances, customers service, suppliers,...
  • apply procedures to ensure efficient and cost effective movement of important and exportation (for example: customs declaration)

What we value

You have:

  • A first experience in a similar role: transportation, warehouse,... in an industrial sector
  • An experience in several kind of transport: boat, railway, road, plane is required
  • A good understanding of customs and Trade matters (documentation, principles, classification,…) is required
  • A good level of communication in French and English (written and oral)
