The Integration Architect is responsible for adapting the system/product strategy to fit the market requirements and to translate it into technical solutions for specific customer projects.

Challenges we trust you with

As Integration Architect, you join the R&D team in charge of Customer Project Support. You are responsible for:

• Supporting customer Projects by :
  • Providing functional and technical specifications aimed at producing or sourcing the required components and specify the components interfaces according to customer needs – i.e. writing of the definition, requirements and specifications of the integrated solution (for all sub-systems : rhodotrons, Safety, Beagle PCS, conveyor and building) in relation with R&D and PRODUCT team.
  • Provide the system architecture documentation to describe how the components consistently interact with each other and how a new feature is added into the system so that it is compatible
  • Lead a functional analysis to describe chronologically the system on the logical level, a static description explains defining how each subcomponent is integrated into the higher component, and the interactions between all components. 
  • Write Requirements&testing matrix for integrated products according to customer specifications and validate the traceability between requirements and design
• Propose evolution of product design and its specifications
• Ensure the support for product maintenance
• Support the senior Integration Architect by : 
  • Ensuring that the system design is compliant with the requirements, good practices and IBA’s standards
  • Taking the decision regarding the implementation of a change within the complex parts of the system and be responsible for its impact(s)
  • Using standardized methodologies to identify risks and mitigate them and being accountable for it
  • Helping defining standards
  • Helping to complete the product catalog of the integrated solution

What we value

• A master degree in engineering or industrial sciences, preferably in software, IT, computer science or electro mechanics, or an equivalent experience oriented with industrial software.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial software development or machine development or software architecture, in an international and multicultural environment,
• Experience in System integration and software specifications
• A good knowledge of MS Office and is an asset.
• Knowledge in database, automation and software development is a “plus”. 
• An analytical, logical, structured and pragmatic mind.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

• Flexible person with very good planning & organizing skills.
• Able to organize your work autonomously and you enjoy taking initiatives.
