Indirect Sourcing Associate (IT category) hybrid

Mission

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Category Buyer to join our team at IBA. As an IT Category Buyer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the sourcing and procurement of IT hardware, software, and consultancy services. This role is pivotal, considering the strategic importance of the IT category for IBA, with an annual portfolio value exceeding €20M and involvement in key RFP projects. You will report to the Indirect Purchasing Manager. 

Challenges we trust you with

•    Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
•    Lead complex software, license, support, and maintenance procurement projects from initiation to completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
•    Handle hardware RFQs, challenging suppliers to negotiate the best technological offers in terms of cost, delivery, and quality.
•    Define and implement Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers, ensuring contract compliance.
•    Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality and delivery, collaborating with Supplier Development Engineers and Procurement Officers.
•    Drive improvement projects within the team to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

What we value


You have:

• Master's degree with emphasis on areas of Business, Economics, Finance, Procurement, Legal or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role 
• Strong experience in IT Hardware/Software purchase and market knowledge (including ERP, architecture (SaaS, PaaS, on premises etc)
• Sound knowledge in contract management, procurement methodologies, partnering, supplier selection and supplier relationship management
• Experience in transversal project and process management and affinity in technic, technologies and products knowledge is a strong asset
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP or another equivalent ERP system is a must

•    A team player with a high degree of self-management and adaptability.
•    Flexible and stress-resistant, with effective organizing and problem-solving abilities.
•    An excellent communicator in both French and English, with exceptional negotiation and networking skills.
